In this season of restoration, God has again joined the faith of believers to His sanctified stewardship, knowledge, tools, and priesthood of the new covenant. Believers are again living by the power of the resurrected Christ.
At the same time, the devil is trying his best to reconstruct the broken down and crumbling walls that God tore down. Namely, the “kingdom prosperity” message. God’s warning is clear: Don’t fall prey to that message again.
You might ask, how can the devil be so persuasive as to argue believers back under the shadow of his logic? We must understand the tactics the devil uses. He first presents the argument between poverty and excess and points out why this is exactly what you need, how you can do it better this time around, and then gives you a set of scales to settle the war in the mind that he just started.
The devil knows that the natural man approaches God, not by the covenant Jesus shed His blood to provide, but by striking deals with God (substitutionism). The devil offers to mentor your faith, promising that you can find closure in the moral code. In reality, he is offering an alternative to the will of God.
Using the moral code to argue poverty against excess, a believer tries to navigate the muddy waters of his defiled conscience. The end result is a message of compromise the natural man can relate to, consent to – and the wall of false knowledge that God destroyed, gets a new face lift.
God addresses this broken down mentality. Get ready to build the body up in the holy knowledge of Jesus Christ. Get ready to learn how to walk in the true increase of the Spirit.
Galatians 2:18,
“For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.”

Why God is NOT Revitalizing Kingdom Prosperity
Excerpt From the Message
While in Egypt, the children of Israel were fed by the Egyptians, their task masters. But when the people were led out of Egypt by the hand of God’s steward, God fed them. They learned the difference between the food of oppression and the food of faith. Do you know the difference?
The false religious system is eating the food of oppression. The words, prophecy, teaching, and preaching bear this out as they continually speak only of the issues that relate to themselves: politics, social issues, economics, global warming. The prophets of Baal continue to bring to the people’s mind the issues, the struggles, and the fears of man.
On the other hand, the prophets of God continue to put the people in mind of the covenant of Jesus Christ, which God engages to sustains you.
Change is Here
Jesus was saying: The knowledge of my kingdom and that of my Father is being introduced to you and you have to change your shed. You have to come out of Moses’ temple and come into my temple.
John the Baptist spoke of this transition and Jesus later said that if the people would have listened to the prophet, they would have accepted His stewardship. But in that they rejected the words of the prophet, they rejected their steward and messiah.
The same is true today as God’s message is again heard: Change is here! Believers are now transitioning from the sheds of independent ministries into the house of Jesus’ covenant. But those who did not heed the prophesies to prepare themselves are going back to eat the old manna—to fulfill their own vision. They have not prepared themselves for the shift and have fallen victim to the devil’s manipulations again.
Teaching Points From the Message:
The false religious system is as the Gibeonites. Independent ministries provide a false witness saying, “Look here, we drink of the wine of God, we eat of the bread of God, and we also walk in the things of God.”
And then we look at their feet and say, “But your shoes are rotten. And not only that, but your flask of wine has burst open and it’s no good anymore, which you say you filled fresh for your journey. And your bread, that you said you took fresh out of the oven, it’s moldy.”
In other words, you have tokens of falsehood. Tokens of lies. On the other hand, the tokens which we receive of our heavenly Father identify our adoption, that He has received us into His care for increase.
The Government of God Restored
The apostles office is restored to the church and is now functioning as God planned. Jesus cares for His church through His government. This is the burden of the Lord. The burden of the Lord is His government. That means that He will officiate and oversee His government. It’s through this form of officiating through stewardship that you understand that He is wonderful, that you understand that He is your counselor, that you understand that He is your mighty God. And you also understand the everlasting Father and Prince of Peace. You understand these things by the government that sits upon His shoulder. God will receive you. Meaning, He will administer His grace for the remission of your sins and through these things He will care for you as He promised.
