I saw a post on social media claiming the “purposes of anointed olive oil” in listing supposed uses, saying that it: “triggers healing, is a point of contact charged with power, is a weapon to keep your home protected, represents the Holy Spirit, blesses your belongings, and can anoint people’s credit cards bills, work area, schools, cars, family and children, sidewalks and neighbourhoods.” These claims were then finished off by way of quoting a few selected verses.

God, for some time now, has been bringing reproof to the false ministers who continue to mislead believers by such doctrinal errors and miss interpretation of scripture by which many believers become hooked to the feeding of aspiration, whilst their souls remain starving for truth.

Using physical tokens as contact points for faith is a clear indication that the new and better spiritual covenant of Jesus Christ is neither understood nor walked in. And giving the same erroneous instruction to others is evidence of being blind leading the blind.

Colossians 2:21-23
21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

A Spiritual Covenant has Spiritual Tools

The true anointing of Christ is not of the earthly things one can touch as olive oil, but of the greater things of the Spirit; the divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding granted to the converted covenant Christian as the witness of the Holy Spirit meets the record of Jesus Christ in the apostles’ doctrine.  And this requires the foundation of his truth to first be laid in a believer’s heart by living apostles.

For a believer to seek blessings in physical things (oil on belongings etc.) is to clearly be caught under the spell of false doctrine whereby Satan through a counterfeit gospel replaces faith with aspiration. Christ is the blessing of those joined to God by his covenant, who daily serve him acceptably through the spiritual contact points that bear the sanctification of his blood.

Philippians 4:12
I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

Believers having been subject to the grievous wolves who had scattered the flock unto such diverse denominations and ideologies in the current Christian culture, have been taught in error to use the Bible severed from the Godhead (Father, Son and Holy Spirit working through the due order of God appointed stewardship and priesthood, wherein alone the true anointing flows).

Scripture Apart from the Anointing is Severed from the Source

Ministers of unrighteousness look at scriptures (for instance speaking on the use of olive oil) and make conclusions, not considering that the instruction given in those epistles was at the time that of living apostles speaking to those under their direct stewardship according to the revelation of God at the time.

One can find scripture to back up any point of view, after all even the devil quoted scripture when tempting Jesus. This is why the Lord sets order in his house through the oversight of His elect government, truth and Spirit. This due order is what keeps the scriptures tethered to the Godhead as not to transgress God’s timing. We see an example of this in how Jesus responded to the devil by also referencing scripture, only not in confirmation of man’s aspirations, but in reflection on God’s plan – it was not the verses that held the power, but the anointing that worked with his stewardship.

Putting trust in olive oil based on scripture aside from the current directive of God through his sanctified living stewards, is paramount to erecting a fiery serpent upon a pole for all future snake bite victims to look at for the healing, instead of seeking medical advice. This is the stuff of fables – being neither biblical, nor wise in its extrapolation of historic biblical events.

God after all did give that instruction to his steward Moses in the wilderness, and those who obeyed were indeed healed, but the same cannot simply be “claimed” by the precept of scripture apart from the sanctification that accompanies the stewardship.

Isaiah 28:12-13
12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

The Anointing Works with the Steward

Believers have for so long in error been taught to look to the Bible as a sort of instruction manual available to all for the practice of independent faith (in actuality replacing faith with aspiration), that they have missed the pattern of God contained throughout its pages: God speaks through a living steward to instruct his people, and those who refuse to yield to his due order offends his holiness and from such his presence shall depart, even as with king Saul who was indeed called and anointed of God; but in him pursuing the aspiration over faith, the Spirit of God was taken from him and given unto David as the new anointed of the Lord.

God is a God of order, and he changes not. He has raised up a steward again in our time and through him, Apostle Eric vonAnderseck, has restored unto the church the complete original apostles’ doctrine as Jesus had taught at the first, and which the first apostles instructed believers in and referred back to in their epistles, charging those under their oversight to continue therein.

Receiving this pure apostle’s doctrine through God’s steward, the converted covenant believer no longer searches the scriptures in search of carnal anointing, but rejoices daily as the anointing of truth evidences Jesus’ direct involvement in our faith, unlocking to us his mysteries through the blessedness of stewardship and priesthood, working within divine increase in his wisdom, peace, power, joy and virtue.

Matthew 16:24-26
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
