Unwilling to accept Jesus’ true discipleship, deliverance ministers are pushing back and reworking the very strategies that failed them. The drumbeat of their question is, “Are we doing it right?” God’s unexpected answer has sent shock waves through the church.
God answers the crisis of deliverance ministry through a dream I received in which the Lord confirms again why He has been removing decades of failed deliverance teaching. Satan works through his ministers to make deliverance ministry appear rooted in discipleship, and that is the very error God is now uprooting.
A Divine Dream
In this divine dream, the Lord represented the false church body as a dry, barren tree. I saw that the tree itself bore God’s judgment. It was lifeless because Satan’s deliverance strategies and confessions are fruitless.
The Lord guided my hand in the dream, and with one pull and one motion, I removed the dry tree from the ground. The tree, the roots, and the soil came up together.
Through this, the Lord confirmed that He is uprooting what Satan planted in the church: the lifeless tree (deliverance ministry), the root system (the leaders who developed it), and the soil (those who support it).
Deliverance ministry is rooted in Satan’s lies and through His real apostles, God is uprooting what He never planted, even as Jesus Himself said:
Matthew 15:13
But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
The Spirit speaks expressly: Deliverance ministry is a fruitless tree. It leaves the soul barren of God’s work and divine fruit. And that’s why deliverance ministers have to ask, “Are we doing deliverance right?”
This same mindset is now openly voiced by prominent deliverance leaders. But instead of heeding God’s call to exit a system He never authored, they deepen their deception and reinforce the very structure God is uprooting.
One example is Vlad Savchuk, whose recent statement reveals how deeply this distortion has taken root in the church. He said:
“true discipleship must include deliverance… any discipleship that subtracts deliverance… is missing the whole discipleship point.”
Savchuk’s words reveal his acceptance of Satan’s counterfeit gospel. God did not authorize multiple discipleship models as we see in the false church body. There is only one pattern that God set for our faith to reflect Him perfectly.
That one pattern is not the Bible. It is the living record of Christ in the one foundation of truth deliverance ministers deny.
False teachers like Savchuk, promote another Jesus and another discipleship model where deliverance ministry replaces the work of the Spirit to form Christ within. Satan’s ministers replaced Jesus’ covenant tools with techniques and then calls the absence of fruit a sign that more deliverance is needed.
They gave you deliverance as discipleship and left you in the wilderness. Believers were discipled into the wilderness, trying to interpret their situation.
Deliverance ministers are saying, “We got it wrong all these years, but we still have a chance to make it right.” But God is correcting that mindset. The whole deliverance tree is dried up from the roots and God is removing the tree, the roots, and the soil. The system cannot produce fruit, no matter how it is adjusted.
—True discipleship is no longer a mystery.
The True Discipleship Pattern
Discipleship was always centered on Jesus’ covenant where believers are fully equipped to begin their priesthood. God further connected the priesthood to apostolic stewardship to empower your fruit bearing. The very essence of discipleship is to allow God to parent His fruit within us even as Jesus said.
John 15:8
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
Are you claiming to be Jesus’ disciple, yet you deny His covenant? Jesus connects the fruit bearing of your soul to your discipleship in His covenant. The whole point of discipleship is fruit bearing and God’s divine design for fruit bearing is in the priesthood of the believer. That’s where God placed His active involvement to initiate and sustain each growth cycle.
— Discipleship includes the very things God placed in Jesus to perform His work in you: His apostolic stewardship, His spiritual tools, and His priesthood.
The apostles teach responsibility to Jesus’ covenant which deliverance ministers throw off as they set another pattern and look for signs of fruit within themselves.
The Seed Reflects its Parent
In the natural world, when we look at a tree, we’re seeing the face of its parent. The seed possesses the design to take on that likeness from the bark to the branches, to the leaves, and its fruit. God placed the process of its development in the seed as a parable to preach to us His divine process in the seed of His truth in Jesus Christ.
It is through Jesus’ covenant that God’s design for regeneration (the fruit bearing process) is fully provided and initiated. That’s where you are equipped and empowered to take on the image of your parent (your heavenly Father). That fruit developed by God’s design is of God’s making and is empowered to overcome self, Satan, and the world. We experience that every day.
—Jesus’ fruit is not born within by “casting Satan out” of your life or your thoughts, or “rebuking him”, or “renouncing him” as you fight against sin. This is not God’s fruit bearing process.
Apostle Eric vonAnderseck brought out this important distinction in a recent assembly:
Your charity is now free from sin. Because God freed you from sin when you came into covenant there’s nothing to be repented of. Your repentance is sealed by your charity. God removes you from Satan’s kingdom and also removes the stains of that kingdom from your soul. That’s a process that increases by the anointing. A substance is born of this knowledge that was put in Jesus Christ.
Amen. God first separates us from Satan’s kingdom and then removes the stains of Satan’s kingdom from our soul. That’s not deliverance ministry; that’s the process that takes place when a covenant relationship with God has begun.
Setting Jesus’ apostolic stewardship aside, deliverance ministers set Jesus’ priesthood aside and wonder why the stains of Satan’s kingdom remain and try to reprogram themselves. You might have heard it said:
“You reprogram yourself by carrying your cross. When was the last time you picked it up?”
God is bringing Satan’s substitution to light: when ministry leaders say “cross” they don’t mean Jesus’ covenant. They mean something else and this is where Satan’s devices are again discerned.
The Apostle James instructions are, “Submit yourself therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.” Submission to God takes place inside His covenant house where we pick up His knowledge and all His tools bear the testimony of our transition from darkness to light. (Jas. 4:7)
Trying to submit to God apart from the power tools of His covenant, Satan fills the void with empty advice, saying that prayer, bible reading, and submitting to a pastor will crucify the flesh.
But here’s Satan’s counterfeit… he untethers these things from God and tethers them to the flesh and this changes everything. You can’t crucify what you’re feeding.
- Prayer removed from your priesthood is self-serving.
- Bible reading removed from Jesus’ covenant is self-referencing.
- Submission to stewardship apart from God’s government is self-preservation.
The anointing is God’s transitional power, but the Spirit of God will only draw from the things God placed in Jesus. Prayer, bible reading, and the oversight of your faith changes when they are tethered to God.
Deliverance ministers try to crucify the flesh by untethering themselves from God.
Like a kite let loose on a windy day, they’re carried wherever the wind takes them, and they call it direction.
Trying to crucify the flesh outside of God’s provision, the wilderness church leaders continue to work at unraveling the mystery of why the stains of Satan’s kingdom remain and have to ask, “Are we doing deliverance right?”
—God answers that they got discipleship wrong.
The mystery that the unrighteous try to penetrate with their logic leads them down a never-ending road that Jesus called “the broad way”. They walk in the ignorance of death (Satan’s kingdom) and die in the ignorance of death (ruled by Satan’s knowledge and fruit).
The anointing always works with grace and truth to produce the fruit of Christ in the soul. And this is why God designed your discipleship to take place inside His covenant environment.
The Hand of God
Going back to the dream again, it’s important to note that the one hand and one action the Lord focused on to uproot the dry tree is the restoration of His one apostolic government (all God’s callings joined in Christ) fulfilling the same goal. God’s goal is to uproot what He had not planted, as He leads believers out of the wilderness environment He had not designed and into His covenant to begin working in them.
—These old traditions are dead because the aspiration that fed them is death.
The Lord reveals not only the believers’ blind spot but also how deliverance leaders build where God has not planted. They see nothing wrong with the wilderness ground they’ve claimed as their home. Unless God’s real apostles unveil Satan’s lie, they won’t recognize it, and they will keep scrambling to preserve a system God is dismantling.
John 15:6
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
The Lord is saying: “If you find yourself in that desolate place, know that you are NOT in Me.”
This is why God names the wilderness, names what grows there, and shows that its roots are founded in Satan’s counterfeit. God reveals the effects of being planted in a waste place which He did not author.
