Apostles Restored

This Article Series by Apostle Eric vonAnderseck spearheads the return of the church to the pure, unchangeable, uncompromising truth of Jesus Christ, whereas nothing of Jesus is missing, and nothing of man is added.

What do you know about the one, true and inexorable truth of Jesus Christ? The way in which you were discipled into the faith left an imprint of knowledge that either reflects Jesus perfectly or reflects self.

Doctrine is a blueprint of knowledge that Jesus gave to His apostles, thus establishing their role in the church. The book of Acts records Jesus’ purpose for His apostles: “ And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” (Acts 2:42)

What do you want to know about prayer? That’s doctrine. What do you want to know about the gifts of the Spirit? That, too, is doctrine. What do you want to know about how God grants power to live the life of Christ here on this earth? You can’t know it or live it without first learning the apostles’ doctrine.

In Acts 2:42 God points to the source of Jesus’ doctrine, and He doesn’t point to the Bible, but rather to the apostolic calling, and this is why the doctrine of Christ is also called the apostles’ doctrine.

God establishes from the very beginning how He meant for the church to receive teaching  and how discipleship takes place from that authority. The inescapable truth is that doctrine comes from the apostolic calling and anointing.

We not only have God’s mind concerning the source of sound doctrine, but we have His mind concerning His spiritual government on earth. God provided all things for us in Jesus’ truth, and His truth is provided through His apostles. The government sits upon Jesus’ shoulders (Is. 9:6).

God restored apostles to the church today to change the tide. The current Christian culture was not under apostolic stewardship. Those who are not discipled by apostles were taught how to use the Bible to relieve their conscience and reinvent themselves, which is faux regeneration. From this platform the church is given a convenantless gospel—a gospel without covenant, which is a gospel without Christ.

Apostles are sent by God to instruct the church

God unveils the true apostolic calling and anointing. Apostles are sent by God to instruct the church in the mystery of Christ; they are not sent to evangelize the world. Although Apostle Paul was sent to take the gospel to the Gentiles, the focus is not on being “sent”, but rather on the knowledge he carried, for Jesus sent Apostle Paul with His covenant gospel.

This distinction is vital to grasp in this new apostolic season. When it is thought that being sent means to evangelize the world to Jesus, then it does not matter what one teaches, or how believers are discipled into the faith. All that matters is the number of so-call converts. God has turned this around. The tide has changed.

Jesus’ purpose for His apostles was not to carry His story to all parts of the world, but rather to carry His covenant, which is contained in the terms, tools, 12 foundation stones, and priesthood by which Christ is made known, and the life of Christ is lived. It is by this truth that we are ONE with God, and He is ONE with us.

God brings us into ONE house, ONE truth and ONE doctrine of Christ. We are ONE in the Lord, for we all share the ONE covenant faith.

Ephesians 4:4-5
“There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; [5] One Lord, one faith, one baptism.”

This defines for us what apostles are sent to do and the reason that Jesus places a premium upon the calling. First and foremost, an apostle is sent to the church with the blueprint of truth, a divine blueprint of knowledge that leads believers into the new covenant and equips them with all the spiritual tools God sprinkled with Jesus’ blood for their faith to be active.

Apostles are First as God’s Spearheads

1 Corinthians 12:28
“And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.”

Apostles are first as God’s spearheads in the new season of change, returning to the church the original blueprint of truth Jesus meant His church to have. This Article Series is devoted to unveiling the true apostolic calling and anointing.

Equally important, you will understand why God is resolutely opposed to the many counterfeit apostolic movements that have risen up to rival Him. Satan is just as active through religious leaders now as he was during Jesus’ ministry, trying to keep people bound to the traditions and errors of the past.

Read the articles to arm yourself with discernment, to test the many apostolic claims against the metal of God’s one and true standard – Jesus Christ.

False Apostles Oppose God’s Transition into the New Covenant

False apostles oppose God’s transition into the new covenant terms, tools, and priesthood. Instead they developed a time line of error, listing the various ministers who came forward to offer their own misguided and failed attempts to turn the church around.

Why would ministers continue to pander to this lineage of error? Jeremiah 2:8 gives insight, “The priests said not, Where is the Lord? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.”

In this verse God points to a deceptive witness between the false priesthood, transgressing pastors, and false prophets. We see the same union of witnesses among ministers today who profess to be God’s prophets, apostles, pastors, teachers, and evangelists – each proclaiming to know God, yet contributing to the blueprint of error a voice of witness that continues to hold believers in bondage to Satan’s lie.

Sadly, as the errors of many generations are celebrated, believers continue to walk after things that do not profit their relationship with God. The three main branches of error are: Multitudes, Money, and Miracles. This disparaging witness of man tries to give evidence to Christ in the things that the natural man values.

God’s three main branches are: Government, Truth, and Spirit. Jesus’ government begins with apostles whom He authorized and sanctified to provide believers with the one truth and record of knowledge that the Holy Spirit bears witness to as He gives evidence to Christ.

Just to be clear, Multitudes, Money, and Miracles are the witness of man, and Government, Truth, and Spirit is the witness of God. A healthy faith is composed of God’s three-fold cord.
