I woke up on one morning a few minutes before my alarm went off, with a prophetic sign. Before I share it with you to unfold the mind of God, I want us to see that it is God’s will to give dreams and visions to show us signs of the times.
Numbers 12:6
And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
A lot of people receive prophetic visions, especially today as God awakens the church to re-enter the covenant of Jesus Christ. This is why there are so many ministers talking about consecration.
But to properly interpret a vision or dream, a minister has to have the same blueprint that God uses as this is how God shapes our understanding and gives direction for faith. And this is why God sends His apostles and prophets to the church.
Consecration is a time when the heart is prepared with truth to serve the Lord in righteousness. I’m not talking about the many truths of the false religious system, but the one blueprint of truth. Ministers who don’t possess the apostolic calling, can’t direct the church, but that does not stop them from setting their own stage for consecration.
They send out many invitations to the church to come and dine, but the table hasn’t been set.
There’s a lot of build up of expectation in newly formed consecration meetings and gatherings that does nothing to purify the bride of Christ by preparing believers to awaken out of their slumber to re-enter Jesus’ covenant.
There are two words God uses to describe that condition of slumber that He is addressing:
You might remember the prophet Ezekiel who was commanded of the Lord to become a sign to the people. In chapter 4 of Ezekiel we see the prophet manifesting the condition of the people and in this way God was preaching to them about their true condition.
Ezekiel 4:4
Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.
Can You Reanimate a Dead Faith?
The prophetic sign God gave me sheds light on the feverish drive for consecration to reanimate a dead faith, whilst leading believers to empty tables and how, instead of liberating them, believers are spiritually paralyzed.
God allowed me to experience the paralysis of the church. I experienced a momentary manifestation of paralysis in my shoulders and upper body area, unable to move my arms or having any sense of movement.
Directly following this experience, I received the second sign. The Lord showed me the lifeless condition of the church. As God touched my body, I experienced a moment of complete inability to breathe, accompanied by a sense of extreme stillness and blackness. Although this happened before daybreak, the sense of a stillness and blackness was a spiritual experience, not descriptive of my surroundings.
This profound experience is just as the parables Prophet Ezekiel received by the hand of God to stir the hearts of the people and make them aware that they had compromised the truth.
This same compromising of the doctrine of Christ is taking place today. New movements to lead the church into rededication and recommitment gatherings hold believers in a spell of promise that the life of Christ they had been denied (by false ministers), would now become a reality. In essence, the promise is that their dead faith can be reanimated.
To reanimate means: to bring (someone or something) back to life or to come back to life; to reconstruct or re-create; to reinvigorate; to restore to life or consciousness; revive. [merriam-webster.com; thefreedictionary.com; lexico.com]
Maybe you’ve attended these types of gatherings, seeking to reanimate your faith. There are many staged environments to help you feel that you have entered into a state of humbled submission to God. You may find yourself on the floor in prayer or in a prostate position. You may find yourself crying and weeping before God.
Yet, God, in His mercy, reveals that this habit to seek consecration by passion, apart from re-entry into Jesus’ new covenant is lifeless knowledge, lifeless worship, lifeless grace, lifeless prayer, and in truth, brings paralysis to the church. The question is: Will you awaken in time?
What is groundbreaking for many is to realize that the life of Christ is being feigned by the stirring of their own passions by these ministers, whilst the bride of Christ is left immobilized, and marked by the philosophy of this world.
So much of the teachings, books, music and conferences we see promoted by ministers on social media as God’s vision for you, is all about the promise of having your passions stirred anew (which many consider to be experience with God rather than realizing it is an emotional sugar-high generated from within themselves). The “encounters” they promise are not truly with God, but with your own passions about Him (aspiration replacing His grace, which leaves faith void of the power of Christ’s presence.)
The Breath of God Restored to the Church
To be clear, God’s plan is a reclamation of your faith by restoring your faith with the same doctrine (knowledge) and same spiritual stewardship and priesthood the early church had, whereby they honored God and God reciprocated by reforming the soul with the virtues of Christ.
God’s restored government is preaching and teaching and pointing to the open door of covenant and the knowledge wherewith God is now blessing the church. Yet, there are still many false altars being built, and this is a cause of grief to the heart of God. He is therefore bringing out contrast for correction and true consecration, as seen in the further unfolding of the prophetic sign He ministered for the church:
God’s sign that He placed in this prophetic experience continued throughout the day as I noted yet another sign that He granted to further His teaching point. A spiritual sign accompanied my natural breathing. Each breath was filled with the breath of the Spirit (in contrast to the lifeless, breathless state). The best way I can describe this is that I noted a great awareness and appreciation of the ability to freely breathe, which continued for much of the day.
This series of prophetic signs speaks of God’s restoration, God’s way and how the restoration of truth now bestowed upon the church through the apostle’s office is God’s remedy. God is breathing anew in His church the breath of life in the new covenant knowledge.
Believers are again breathing freely and breathing deeply of the Spirit, learning how to abound in God’s grace and how to abound in faith, as the true altar of Christ is rebuilt in the heart with the whole stones that God selected to represent Jesus Christ. This is the way of covenant, wherein none of the gimmicks to stir man’s passions are needed, for the living reality of Christ is present in each divine stone of knowledge for faith’s building to perfectly reflect Himself.
God’s sign in this new breath of life is for us to behold the contrast as He breaks open the ground sown by false stewards to expose the seeds of false knowledge and the spirit by which they work to bring the church back under the dreaded coma state, paralyzed and unable to move in the direction God is leading.
You will notice that many of these ministers are promising to awaken the church, promising to bring the church into God’s new season, but their consecration truths are the same as the former generation. The same truths that put the church to sleep are being revamped and re-offered as something new.
God Disrupts Man’s Confidence
We can also take this prophetic sign to understand the judgements of God currently experienced through the worldwide outbreak of the Corona virus and the effects on everyday life with the measures implemented in most nations to limit its spread.
God, in a short space of time, has greatly diminished man’s ability to find comfort and expression in the powers of his carnal confidence, in such things as church culture, family culture, health and fitness culture, travel culture, sports and recreation culture, pub and clubbing culture, shopping and entertainment culture and so on.
This was also represented by the paralysis; as people’s lives are set on hold and world economy brought to a halt. This is a sign upon the wicked for their arrogance and indifference towards God and His covenant through Christ.
But it is also a blessing for those that are humbled in being confronted by their own frailty and lack of power, to yield their hearts to His grace and seek the Lord’s will as to re-enter Jesus’ covenant whilst there is still opportunity before the rapture of His church.
The world fears the worst symptoms of this illness, yet remain blind to the greater fearful outcome of a life lived in the vanities of this world and its false religious systems, which is eternal separation from God, to be cast out into utter darkness.
