Are you a wilderness believer? Here’s how you know. You move through seasons of trial, hiddenness, or spiritual attack, wondering about God’s purpose. You feel called to trust Him, but you don’t understand His goal. One wilderness path turns into another, but nothing forms, questions remain, and you never see God’s process.
— The truth is, you’ve been living in the wilderness the enemy created for the church—a fully constructed counterfeit environment.
The temptation is to accept wilderness teaching and continue in dryness and longing, instead of stepping out of the devil’s refining fire and into God’s covenant through Jesus, where He equips you in His fruit‑bearing process.
Satan’s Links Are Broken by God’s Real Apostolic Stewardship
God unveils the counterfeit environment the enemy built and the counterfeit journey pattern that wilderness ministers normalize and rationalize.
In this teaching we’ll look at specific links Satan engineered in the false church body to imitate Jesus’ priesthood growth cycles. The very cycles God initiates in Jesus’ covenant environment where we co‑labor with the Holy Spirit as He heals our soul and forms His living virtue in us.
The wilderness minister follows Satan’s journey pattern.
They don’t just work with Satan’s links, they reinforce them, normalize them into shared testimonies, and call their symptoms “spiritual”. God is breaking the wilderness vocabulary—removing the emotional fog and replacing it with covenant clarity. The language of the counterfeit journey pattern is deeply embedded in the church. They might say, for example:
- “You’re suffering for a reason.”
- “It’s just a season.”
- “God’s refining fire is necessary.”
- “David suffered, Joseph suffered, so you’re in good company.”
What wilderness ministers describe are not growth cycles that God initiates. They’re describing the very reinforcements that keep believers wandering. Growth cycles are daily, they are God’s design to work with you in Jesus’ covenant with His tools.
God designed the Christian growth cycle with 3 distinct phases. Each phase is important, and each phase is identifiable, and each phase is effectual through the Holy Spirit. In other words, covenant believers know what God is doing and why, we know that God builds trust through daily, direct contact. That’s what we experience. . As Apostle Eric vonAnderseck brings out in his IDCCST Course, “we learn what we live.”
Our mindset changes from a wilderness mindset (lack, questioning, dryness, wandering, circumstance orientation) to the mind of Christ. We know what the Lord is doing. Through His real apostles, He gave us a complete foundation of truth to reason with Him.
A Confession of a Wilderness Minister
Wilderness ministers openly confess to spending years in the wilderness—years of doubt, years of confusion, years of inner conflict, years of “trusting God in the dark”, years of not knowing what the Lord is doing.
When they say, “I spent years in the wilderness” it’s not a detail—it’s a seismic moment. It’s the loudest alarm in the counterfeit system.
Stop and consider that…that single word—years—becomes a point of discernment.
- Years of wandering vs daily growth cycles
- Years of confusion vs daily clarity
- Years of dryness vs daily fruit‑bearing
- Years of guessing vs daily priesthood contact
In one sentence, the wilderness minister reveals the entire system: “I have no idea what God is doing, and I think that’s spiritual.” This confession exposes the Lord’s challenge against the enemy’s false system. Look at what it reveals:
- the normalization of dryness
- the absence of God’s covenant through Jesus
- the lack of daily cycles
- the absence of priesthood function
- the absence of fruit
- the absence of direction
- the absence of Jesus’ covenant tools
- the absence of real apostolic stewardship
This is where the Lord opens up the absurdity of the wilderness pattern so you can clearly see it. Wait… why would God strand someone for years? Why would He withhold clarity? Why would He leave someone in confusion? Why would He produce no fruit? Why would He suspend His own covenant design in Christ?
A minister confessing to years of confusion is not a badge of honor. It’s the clearest indicator that the environment is false. True discernment comes in this moment the Lord reveals: The wilderness is not a season — it’s a system. And that system is not mine.
I’ll say it again—the wilderness is not a growth cycle. It is Satan’s counterfeit refining fire.
- God’s growth cycles are daily.
- The wilderness is the only place where nothing happens for years.
- Apostolic stewardship reveals the system so you can exit it.
- Wilderness ministers motivate people to survive the “test”.
The Vision
I received a vision from the Lord during my prayer break today that is going to help you. The Lord confirmed again why the church under the leadership of wilderness ministers is still asleep, still unresponsive to God.
In this vision I saw a person, eyes closed and completely unaware of what was happening to him.
Multiple hands were busy arranging words upon this person’s closed eyelids. I saw it happen in rapid fashion as if multiple hands were inscribing in his mind the very knowledge that kept him from awakening.
Some hands used rubber stamps and some pressed typewriter letters into the eyelids. What I saw was instilled knowledge—a culture inherited that remained undiscerned. A library of rubber‑stamped teaching. This is the wilderness vocabulary that was handed down to unsuspecting Christians, carried forward from the Jesus Movement and pressed into the church’s consciousness without question.
Multiple hands also reveal how false knowledge multiplied under the hand of false leadership and how seducing spirits guided and influenced the wilderness teaching.
The wilderness experience wasn’t discovered—it was inherited. It was passed from minister to minister, from testimony to testimony, from movement to movement, until an entire generation accepted deprivation, dryness, and confusion as “normal Christianity”.
This is crucial.
It wasn’t a personal journey—it was a generational imprint.
You didn’t choose this for yourself, and God did not choose it for you. The enemy choose it and ministers born from the Jesus Movement era is the delivery system of that inherited wilderness culture. The Lord had brought the church out of denominationalism to prepare her for the apostles He would send with the restored covenant of Jesus Christ to bring the church into His house.
But Satan closed the door and closed your eyes.
Ephesians 6: 10-11
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
In God’s covenant environment you are equipped to exercise your will to choose grace over your aspiration and to choose the record of Christ over your own nature, and to choose the substance of hope over fading grace. That choice is something we do daily. The Holy Spirit as your companion and comforter guides you through each phase of your growth cycle, replenishing you with many gifts and visitations of the Lord—renewing your mind by a new power as God creates His divine nature within.
Satan’s Fragmented Gospel
It’s time for another excerpt from Apostle Eric vonAnderseck’s soon to be released lesson 3 of The Second 8th Week, the lesson in which God brings the church face‑to‑face with the covenant she lost and the wilderness she embraced.
A whole generation of Christians—hungry for God—missed the instruction they needed to function in Jesus’ covenant to build with God to come into harmony (alignment) with Him. They made a decision for Jesus but never made a decision for Jesus’ covenant. The tracks were never properly laid for them to follow Him.
— That’s not an accident—that’s sabotage. Satan sabotaged your faith by removing Jesus’ covenant stewardship and tools.
In this segment, the Lord corrects Satan’s fragmented gospel. Don’t miss a single installment as God reorients the church back to Jesus. Apostle Eric instructs:
When Jesus’ tools are scattered, so is your faith. Because Satan invented and pushed a covenantless gospel during the 6th Week of darkness, ministers who came out of the Jesus Movement continued in the same dead tradition. They thought they were stepping out of organized religion (God’s awakening), but never stepped into Jesus’ covenant (they fell asleep again).
— Instead of one whole covenant gospel, under one roof—Jesus’ covenant house, Satan fragmented the gospel into different compartments to keep Christians searching for the truth.
Each compartment is dedicated to minister to your needs. What do you need when you are still outside of Jesus’ covenant house, knocking on His door, waiting for Him to open the door for you… waiting for the reality of your faith?
Deliverance Ministry is Part of Satan’s Fragmentation
You still feel lost in an upside down, chaotic world that has turned its back on God. You’re still battling aimlessly against yourself, Satan, and the world and you’re still looking for breakthroughs and freedom. Satan hands the church “deliverance ministry” to replace God’s design to daily engage with you to transform you into the person you were always meant to be.
Deliverance ministry is one of Satan’s compartments.
If you are still outside Jesus’ house—not partaking of Him—you’re wondering how God answers prayer—that’s another spiritual compartment Satan designed. You’re still wondering how prosperity works—that’s another spiritual compartment. How can you step into God’s abundance—that’s another compartment.
— Each compartment is its own maze designed to lead Christians in circles, looking for the power of God that can only be found in Jesus’ new covenant—in His temple with His tools.
Satan does not ignore your spiritual needs—he exploits them.
Every believer feels the need for deliverance, connection, guidance, understanding, power, identity, and provision. Every believer also feels the mounting frustration when kept outside God’s provision. It’s understandable that you might be tempted to ask, “Is this depravation a test?” —because that’s the only vocabulary the wilderness system gives you.
Instead of leading you into Jesus’ covenant house where God placed His entire design, you’re led into these separate compartments the enemy built outside Jesus’ house.
Each compartment promising to meet your needs through its own set of principles—principles of deliverance, principles of answered prayer, principles of prosperity, principles of hearing God. Each need becomes its own system.
Satan’s fragmented gospel scattered the sheep.
Jeremiah 10:21
For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the Lord: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered. The devil shattered Jesus’ covenant and scattered the faith of the people to pursue the fractured ideas he invented to replace Jesus. God is reaching out not only to a lost generation, but a scattered generation.
Ministers of the gospel, pastors, prophets, Christian journalists, and evangelists alike have become brutish, meaning they followed Satan’s fragmented gospel and neglected God’s whole foundation of truth and forgot Jesus’ tools. And through them, Satan scattered the sheep into all these different teachings that promised deliverance but kept believers stranded outside Jesus’ covenant house—in their own wilderness experiences.
God is speaking to the church today.
Without His real apostolic stewardship, the people searching for God were scattered upon the mountains. Each mountain is a rising influencer. Some influencers promise that their deliverance principles would become freedom. Others promised that their prosperity principles would overturn poverty mindsets. Others promised that their better attitude principles would bring divine transformation.
Separate principles for separate needs. That’s exactly how fragmentation works.
Satan says that all these scattered truths will somehow progress into seeing God’s will manifest in your life but that never happens, and it never will happen because truth does not progress. Your experience of regeneration progresses as you labor with God as God works Christ in you. But truth itself does not progress.
God placed His entire design inside one covenant house.
It is one foundation of truth—one blueprint contains His stewardship and priesthood. Our Rock is Jesus and God places a distinction between His true Rock and modern influences (mountains of deception).
Deuteronomy 32:31
For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.God does not work in a splintered foundation, nor in progressive truths. God is calling His church out of that system. He reaches out to a lost generation by answering many prayers of those truly seeking. But every time God’s compassion is received it is misinterpreted as proof that a principle or technique “works”.
The compartment is validated, and the fragmentation is reinforced. The believer assumes they are experiencing spiritual transformation when, in reality, the life of Christ is being rejected. Satan took ownership of God’s compassion and redirected your faith.
The Lord’s intention is to work in you through the tools He placed in His own covenant. Satan counterfeits the appearance of progress by turning God’s compassionate interventions into confirmation that the compartments are legitimate.
— But compassion is not transformation, and answers to prayer are not the same as Christ being formed within.
Believers were taught to treat God’s covenant through Jesus as just another option on the table because they were trained to accept Satan’s counterfeits. Fragmentation conditioned them to evaluate everything by results, testimonies, and current needs, so Jesus’ covenant appears to them as one more “method” instead of the one place where God actually works. Jesus’ covenant also feels to them like their freedom is being taken away because all of Satan’s options are being taken off the table.
— In truth, God is breaking through the spell of fragmentation, helping believers to walk out of this dry, wilderness-view they’ve lived in for years.
God is not attacking your experiences; He is reframing them. His compassion toward you has always been real. Every moment of clarity, every touch of grace, every prayer answered was Him calling you into His covenant. But when the covenant choice is not made, those moments are quickly absorbed and misused by the fragmented system.
They become fuel for the compartments instead of invitations into Jesus’ house.
When your senses are not exercised by the covenant knowledge God placed in Jesus, then Jesus is not the reality you live. And your own testimonies reveal this.
Testimony Example:
When someone says that reading a book on deliverance practices “fills me with a hunger to see God move”, the light should turn on.That hunger is not evidence of God’s movement—it is evidence that they have not seen Him move daily in their own life. It reveals they are outside the covenant house where God moves every day. The testimony itself exposes the disconnect: they are stirred by techniques, not transformed by Christ.
— You will feel that lack in your conscience when you are left outside Jesus’ covenant house.
What has become known as “deliverance ministry” is Satan’s solution for a defiled conscience. Under that influence you will hear ministers making demands of Satan and renouncing him. But that comes straight from the devil’s playbook.
You can renounce Satan and confess scriptures and confess your sins—but you’re not partaking of Christ. Declarations are words of resolution, not transformation. Confessions and declarations are simply recommitments repackaged as warfare by those who rejected and neglected Jesus’ tools.
God in not merely saying “deliverance ministry is wrong”, He’s explaining why it exists and dismantling it once and for all. It’s a myth. It’s a counterfeit practice. You can’t resist the devil by submitting to his tactics.
— God’s real apostolic character uncovers the seducing spirits that sustains deliverance ministry, the emotional rhythm that keeps people trapped in it, and the spiritual language that makes it feel legitimate.
And you probably recognize the pattern in your own language, because it appears again and again. The very testimonies that seem to validate deliverance ministry—and Satan’s other compartments—actually reveal that the person is not experiencing Christ at all. The “hunger” itself becomes part of the maze Satan built in the wilderness, which he rebrands as your spiritual home.
