Why do ministers feel “shocked” when their false gospel comes under God’s reproof? They had changed the glorious gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ into a wilderness gospel and wilderness experience, and God is now rolling back that influence from the church.

And that’s a word of knowledge I received for this teaching: “The Lord is rolling back the blindfold from the church.” And this raises the question: what has kept the church blind and ignorant of the value God placed upon Jesus’ covenant and our living contact with Him?

As God unmasks the impressions born of seducing spirits—the very leading ministers have long called the anointing—His correction lands squarely on the devices Satan planted in the church. Ministers feel that pressure because the practices they helped shape, the very backbone of the Charismatic Movement, are now being judged by God.

These practices were poisonous from the beginning; they were Satan’s devices, crafted to keep believers tethered to the wrong kingdom and blind to his influence.

This is why the exposure feels so personal. The “anointing” they defended was not the Spirit’s witness but the emotional and sensory language of another kingdom, and God is now stripping away the illusion.

Deliverance Ministry as a Device Under Judgment

Deliverance ministry stands at the center of God’s rebukes. It is one of Satan’s most effective devices because it rebrands bondage as freedom and repackages the defiled conscience as spiritual warfare. God is openly challenging it because it has become a substitute for covenant life in Christ.

A believer trained to seek freedom through deliverance has already been conditioned to
interpret spiritual lack as demonic activity rather than separation from Christ.

  • If you’ve been taught to seek freedom through deliverance, God is rolling back this blindfold.

Isaiah Saldivar, Vlad Savchuk, Mike Signorelli and Alexander Pagani recently devised golden rule strategies to avoid repeating deliverance mistakes, but these minister failed to accomplish the one thing that actually brings true liberty. They neglected to join believers to Jesus’ covenant where they are discipled and equipped to take part in God’s living, fruit-bearing process.

The Spirit speaks expressly: there is no freedom outside of Christ and there is no discipleship in the wilderness.

The wilderness is Satan’s classroom, and the wilderness gospel is his counterfeit paths. Satan developed deliverance practices to remove Jesus’ priesthood from your faith and set another pattern.

The Blindfold God is Rolling Back

I’ll say it again, if you’ve been taught to seek freedom through deliverance, God is rolling back this blindfold. The blindfold is not simply ignorance of Jesus’ covenant—it is a learned spiritual reflex, a way of interpreting life that was shaped by ministry leaders who themselves were shaped by seducing spirits.

What God is rolling back is:

  • the assumption that freedom comes from confronting Satan
  • the belief that deliverance is fruit
  • the idea that spiritual hunger is proof of God’s movement
  • the counterfeit dependency on confessing and declaring scripture
  • the fear-based cycle that keeps believers returning for more “sessions”

When the blindfold lifts, the believer sees that deliverance ministry never produced fruit because it cannot. It is a system built to perpetuate need, not to establish covenant life in Jesus.

Ministry leaders are looking for change but they’re not part of God’s process. They’ve seen the damage of their teachings and try to walk back those mistakes, but God is not allowing the enemy to remake the same lies that has held the church in bondage.

Apostle Eric vonAnderseck, teaching from Zephaniah 1:4-6, emphasized by the Sprit that just as God’s corrections fell upon Israel, so they are falling upon the church today:

“God said through Zephaniah, ‘I will also stretch out mine hand… and will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place.’ God’s correction was taking place as the prophets were rolling back the perceptions of Baal’s ministers… and now the time of judgment has arrived for the church.

Ministers are trying to safeguard their position. The altar they built is splitting open under God’s rebukes and they’re trying to plaster it to plug the leaks with the yoke of new commitments. They’re constantly trying to check their heart and realign. But checking your heart is not regeneration. God is judging them. God never told you to do what you’re doing. Someone else told you to do it.”

False Signs and False Commissioning

The Apostle Peter made it clear that God’s judgments DO indeed begin in His house to protect His people from Satan’s ministers.

1 Peter 4:17
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God.

The Apostle Peter, as the eyes of the church, recalled early experiences with people claiming to come with a gift, but the enemy was using them to mislead the church.

Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, brought a gift and set it before the apostles as a sign that they were commissioned by God. The Apostle Peter examined the claims made about their gift to see whether or not these believers would stick to their story.

They had lied about their gift. The lie was about the value of the gift, and it was the real apostolic stewardship that rolled it back, revealing how Satan wove his lie into their hearts.

Acts 5:3-4
3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

Ananias and Sapphira are not simply a historical warning; they are a living pattern God uses to expose ministers who present a gift as if it were divine confirmation and commissioning to teach. They assumed their offering would secure authority and spiritual credibility. They believed the gift itself would testify for them.

But God rolls it back: it is a lie. And their gift is a sign against them. It is not a sign of the anointing.

The question God asked then is the question He asks now: “What possessed you to lie to the Holy Ghost and misrepresent the value of your gift? Satan has filled your heart with his promises and counterfeit gospel.”

This is not rhetorical. It identifies the source:
“Satan has filled your heart.”

God uses Ananias and Sapphira as negative role models as a sign for the church today. Ministers who take a gift and lie about its value are marked by God and His corrections are landing heavily upon them as He observes their choices.

God’s real apostles today say the same thing as Apostle Peter:
“You have not lied to men, but unto God.”

Even as Ananias and Sapphira offered false proof to excuse their lie, so also Satan’s ministers: “Here’s my proof… public deliverances and mass healings.”

God Can Move Through Anyone

But God can move through anyone to heal and deliver. Even Jesus said the same in answer to these kinds of questions posed to Him: “What about the man who was healing people, doing miracles, and casting out devils—but he doesn’t follow you Jesus?” God’s gifts were coming through many different people.

But Jesus replied that God was proving hearts as He prepares them for His new covenant. Who will use the gift as a substitute for His covenant and who will accept His love and come into 100% agreement with God that Jesus’ covenant contains the very life of God for us.

  • Gifts of healing and deliverance is not a calling.
  • Gifts of healing and deliverance is not the bread of God.
  • Gifts of healing and deliverance is not regeneration.

The true sign of God is upon the apostles who build the foundation of truth in the heart and equip the saints for their priesthood where everyone has access to Jesus’ tools, everyone has access to the anointing, and everyone daily overcomes Satan, self, and the world.

Abby Trivett recently also wrote in defense of deliverance ministry errors, missteps, mistakes, and corruption, saying, “deliverance isn’t fading — it’s maturing.”

But that’s a myth. The truth that God designed in Jesus’ covenant for our living contact with Him does not “mature” and Satan’s substitutes will never “evolve” into God’s will. Jesus’ truth is given as a whole, living foundation of knowledge to the church through His real apostles to preserve us in Him.

The Cost of Stealing the Anointing

When a minister says, “those who carry [the] anointing will be the most persecuted,” she has miscarried the anointing. She has lied about the value of the anointing which she kept for herself.

Real apostles give the anointing to God’s people in a living priesthood where the anointing daily flows to all of God’s saints. The value of Christ is retained. Nothing is kept back to vindicate self.

God’s anointing preserves the soul through our daily, sanctified contact with God where His ongoing work within us needs no paths in the wilderness.

Fake apostles take the anointing to themselves and cause God’s people to wander in the wilderness looking for the substance and power of God that He freely gives in the place of His habitation—Jesus’ covenant house through His apostolic stewardship and priesthood.

Through His real apostles, Jesus teaches His people to daily reciprocate to the anointing. Deliverance principles can’t do that. God provided His anointing for us all in the priesthood He selected in Jesus to place His gifts in our hearts.
