Ministers met to discuss the backlash against failed prophecy surrounding the reelection of President Trump. The primary goal of the forum was to build bridges between different prophetic groups in hopes of correcting prophetic practices that are in error. It was put forward that creating a climate of equal exchange would bring unity even if it did not bring conformity.
The problem is that man cannot build a bridge to God, he must use the bridge (covenant of Christ) to join himself to God. This is how God defines obedience. Obedience from God’s perspective is conformity to the truth of Jesus’ covenant.
You should know that a unity without conformity to truth is not the unity of the Spirit, but rather man’s traditional efforts to mend fences and build bridges to God. As everyone knows, these efforts are as fickle as a reed blowing in the wind.
The False Prophetic Movement Brought to its Knees
The wind of man’s imagination is what brought the false prophetic movement to its knees. It is the very thing ministers leaned upon to hear the voice of the Lord and in the end, revealed that these ministers do not know the voice of the Lord. God defines their rebellious ways and the reason for God’s harsh judgments.
When Moses was sent of the Lord to commune with Him for 40 days, Moses returned with the word of the Lord. He bore in his hands the tables of stone upon which the Lord wrote His commandments. Moses also returned with the blueprint of the first covenant, for God had instructed Moses in all the articles of the tabernacle, the construction of the altar, and the function of the priesthood. God said to Moses,
Exodus 25:9
“According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.”
This is an example of God’s perspective of truth – it is an entire blueprint of covenant contact where man exchanges with God. It is therefore God’s perspective of unity. All the children of Israel were to come to the steward of God’s house (Moses) to receive God’s instruction at his mouth.
This is how God defines faith – as our conformity to His new covenant truth, which He now entrusts to the steward of His house. Conformity to truth means that God has a predetermined pattern for covenant faith that man is to observe to see Christ.
Prophecy has been restored to the church first in the priesthood and then in the calling. The kinds of prophecy we have seen coming from false prophetic ministers is a haberdashery of words as they make merchandise of God’s people.
These men are not selected by God to set order to false prophetic practices, rather they are setting themselves up as a “damage-control” ministry to resolve recent public issues. but are NOT judges sent by God.
The Concourse of the Spirit
The concourse of the Spirit in this new apostolic season is God’s will. He has made a way out of the wilderness created by these false ministers who wish to detain you with words, as they did in previous generations, promising to give direction to your faith, while barring the door to covenant.
Isaiah 35:8
“And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.”
Without any true direction from God, ministers invite a forum of open options from various prophetic sources, the very ones who have erred from the truth.
It is this folly that God is judging in the church. Though some prophets have deeply apologized for their error, this is not repentance unto life. We are witnessing the repeated mistakes that have plagued the Body of Christ for decades: God reveals that ministers must come into one house and covenant faith, and they begin to correct themselves, pointing out possible places where error might be seen.
No minister is called of God to correct himself. He is called of God to come into one house and assist with the building up of it.
As ministers offer to God their own resolution, what do you think God’s response will be? But God has already given His wisdom in the apostolic renewal and covenant of Christ’s priesthood.
True repentance on the part of those that have erred from the truth is to abandon their former traditional beliefs and to embrace the counsel of the Lord in the lot and calling He sanctified.
But history shows us that this will not occur on their behalf and they will seek to honor their own efforts of a failed resolve and face the wrath to come.
