Prophet Jonathan

Jonathan serves as a called and confirmed Prophet in the restored government of God, and he is an IDCCST Spiritual Life Coach. Prophet Jonathan shows you why separation and cleansing are necessary to prepare you to function in your new priesthood. View my profile.

The restored government of God is sent to teach the believer how to walk in perfection of faith, meaning how to function in covenant with Christ according to the record God established for faith to reflect Himself.

“Surrogate” is a word of knowledge that I received from God to bring understanding to the church in this season of change and transition, and the regifting of the church with the apostolic calling.

The word surrogate perfectly describes how God uses the apostolic stewardship. Surrogate is defined as, “One appointed to act in place of another; to put in the place of another; to appoint as successor, deputy, or substitute for oneself.” (merriam-webster.com)

Another definition for surrogate: “A substitute, especially a person deputizing for another in a specific role or office.” For example: “She served as a surrogate for the President on a trip to South America.” It’s clear in this example that the President approved of the individual that he sent and that others understood that this person had been given the authority by the President to represent his wishes.

synonyms: substitute, proxy, agent, deputy, representative

Jesus Appointed Apostles to Represent Him

God’s will is clear. While apostles do not replace Jesus, He did appoint them as His authority on earth. They have been deputized to represent His interests in this dimension and are given the office and the calling and the measure of grace to function in His behalf, to teach the way of covenant.

Regardless of how one personally views them, they have been given the authority and responsibility to act on Jesus’ behalf, to preserve the church in the true knowledge of our salvation. All who want to come into the house of God and become a productive citizen in His kingdom to conform to the expectations of the authority giver, must conform to the one whom He has deputized.

Apostle Paul spoke of his office as the authority granted by God to represent His interests on earth in the name and person of Jesus Christ. He began his epistles pointing out that he did not come in his own person. He said, Paul, an apostle.

Roman 1:1
“Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God.”

1 Corinthians 1:1
“Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God…”

Ephesians 1:1
“Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus.”

The apostle serves as a surrogate for Jesus. The role of the prophet is to confirm the present new covenant and the apostolic stewardship ordained of God to carry out His will on earth in Jesus’ name. The calling carries the authority of Jesus.

God Removes Vain Glory from the Calling

If we war after the flesh, we will fight against God’s will to regift the church with the apostolic calling. When I say “war after the flesh” I mean to value ourselves above Christ.

The world lists their achievements based on what they value. We value Christ and reciprocate Christ. We don’t strive amongst ourselves for an advantage as the world does to gain a testimony to themselves. Because we are building with the anointing, we build each other up through that same power.

What I’m pointing out here is that the apostolic calling, when received as a gift from God, does not produce strife. Where then does strife come from?

In the book of Jude, the apostle Jude, in his epistle spoke about the protester, “These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.” (Jude 1:16) He goes on to say,

Jude 1:17-21

17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;

18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

The world honors and seeks after the advantage for the purpose of seeking the admiration of others. We in covenant don’t seek the admiration of the world because they admire all the corruptible things. They have not tasted the true power of God’s eternal relationship.

The Womb of the Covenant

God gave us Jesus Christ and He is our covenant. In Him we live. God gave us the womb of the covenant as the perfect environment to experience the life of Christ.

Going back to the word of knowledge, surrogate, there is a second definition I want to look at: “Relating to the birth of a child or children by means of surrogacy.” (Merriam-Webster.com)

In this dimension God assigned the covenant of Christ to carry us and tether us to Him. The covenant is the womb in which we develop in Christ before we are delivered into God’s eternal kingdom.

Right now, we are as a baby in its mother’s womb. The covenant is the environment of God’s care for us as He develops Christ in us. Just as a baby within the womb of its mother receives all the nourishment it needs to grow, we also receive from God everything in Christ we need to grow: government, truth, Spirit; the gifts, callings, grace of God; prayer, preaching, and prophecy.

We are tethered to one of two sources, the life of Christ or that of the world. When tethered to God, He supplies all our needs for our development into the precious child that He will continue to dote over.

All the angels will be witness to the fulfillment of His plan. To find those who will love Him as He commanded because they cherish their relationship with God above all other things.

It is only in covenant with Christ that faith reflects Christ perfectly. God designed a perfect path of progression for your wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of His kingdom to increase and abound.
