What is Restoration?

So, what is restoration? It is God’s sovereign will to return the church to the apostolic calling, Jesus’ new covenant terms and tools, His foundation of truth, and priesthood. This covenant path is the true and original path God designed for our walk with Him.

Jesus’ new covenant apostles are leading the church into a new era, bringing to pass Isaiah 58:12, “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.”

In this Four-Part  Article Series from Apostle Eric vonAnderseck, God challenges long held traditions as He leads the church back to Jesus. God has turned around toxic cultures and destructive patterns that cloud His truth and has again called a steward of grace to raise up the original pillars and foundation that has been neglected.

When ministers began to explore different paths of faith, believers were led into an era of confusing misinformation about God’s plan. Each breach of the covenant presented multiple barriers: Why didn’t God heal me? Why am I depressed? How can I hear God’s voice? How does Jesus help me rule over sin? Why is the church divided?

The problem has been an incomplete faith. When Jesus said, “I have not found your works perfect before God” (Rev. 3:2), He was speaking of an incomplete faith. Ministers say they love Jesus, but they ignore the terms of His covenant. Their faith is incomplete.

They have works, but their works are unsanctified tokens and, therefore, do not reflect Christ. Their faith is incomplete. Ministers today don’t want to hear that. They’re building on the traditions of the last 50 years – their conventions, their lectures, their books, and everything else that is mixed into that. It’s a big mess.

God is not going to untangle their mess. He’s sent His steward to begin again. That’s what true restoration is. And by beginning again with His sanctified steward, God is bringing contrast for the purpose of choice.

God’s new covenant faith is neither exploratory, nor is it riddled with paradoxical possibilities. The critical problem: teaching that does not come through apostolic stewardship leads believers to the same knowledge gaps over and over again, neglecting to give straight up answers, playing up the possibility of change while denying God’s sanctified pathways, means that faith – God’s way – is kept out of reach for believers.

So, we see the double-edged sword assigned to the stewardship of this season: to tear down and to build up. God is  tearing down the false traditions and false tokens to show where ministers resist the Spirit, stealing truth to themselves. God is also building the true church, giving witness to His own labor. Dissolution for renewal.

The whole of the Christian faith is experienced in Jesus’ new covenant, which God has now restored in its entirety. This is truly a historic moment for the church. The new apostolic wave is here. God has sent a repairer of the breach, a restorer of paths to dwell in. Be a part of God’s restoration. Read the articles and become informed. Be a part of God’s end-time season.
