The Lord has been responding to ministers who have chosen to turn their backs on the restoration of the covenant and remain in the wilderness. God’s call to them is to bring them back to the true gospel, which they abandoned.

Listen to the message I preached January 21, 2018:
A Holy Priesthood

Two things I want to bring out in this article:

1. The connection between the stewardship and priesthood of the new covenant was established by God beginning with the writings of Naphtali to whom God gave the revelation that the moon represented the stewardship and the sun represents the priesthood.

2. I will put to rest the argument that prayer is the criteria of the new covenant priesthood. It is not. God prepares you with knowledge for the priesthood.

Let’s begin with the first point, which God has now restored to the church: the union of the stewardship and priesthood. Your faith cannot be restored to the fulness of Christ apart from this union.

In the Testament of Naphtali, chapter 2, verses 1-8, we read about the vision that God gave to him. God showed Naphtali that Levi embraced the sun and Judah embraced the moon.

  • LEVI = PRIESTHOOD

  • JUDAH = STEWARDSHIP

Through the stewardship of Moses God gave the church the knowledge of the temple and the tools of the temple, and the ministry of the priests at the altar, to offer blood sacrifices till Christ should come to provide a new priesthood in Himself.

In the old covenant, faith in God followed an exact knowledge, which God gave to the people through a knowledge steward (Moses). The church is now in a season of transition, whereby God is bringing the church back to an exact NEW knowledge of the NEW covenant that is not mixed with Moses, but does require a knowledge steward (apostle) to instruct the church to bring them into one frame – one house.

God gave a word of knowledge to address the second point, whereas ministers want to skip over the instruction of knowledge God gives through new covenant knowledge stewards (apostles). They want to skip over the need to build the altar of Christ with the stones of Jesus’ knowledge, to skip over the preparation to serve God at the altar of Christ. Instead, they want to make it up as they go along. The word received: “extemporaneous”.

Extemporaneous meaning: “Impromptu, improvised are used of expression given without preparation or only partial preparation.” (dictionary.com)

Let’s look at what is claimed by ministers of the false religious system: Prayer is your priesthood. Let me simply state again, NO! This is not true. Although prayer is one of the 9 tools of the new covenant, the altar of Christ is not constructed of prayer, nor is prayer the sacrifice offered to God. Prayer is mixed with your spiritual sacrifices of prophecy, but prayer is not the sacrifice.

When challenged to the new covenant priesthood, ministers thought they would play it safe: “I’m going to call prayer my priesthood. No one can say anything against prayer, so I’ll be safe.”

Let’s consider why this is so deadly wrong. First of all, prayer is constructed of the bricks of knowledge used to build faith. As we see in the illustration, prayer is a reflection of the knowledge one embraces. Our prayers are to reflect Christ and therefore the construction of knowledge precedes prayer.

When prayer is a reflection of the doctrines of man and the works of the flesh, prayer is offered in the house of the damned – in the house of Baal. This is not the pedigree of the Spirit.

So then, prayer, as a tool of the new covenant, is only a portion of the priesthood. Not being mixed with knowledge and prophecy, it does not reflect the fulness of Christ. In the new covenant we offer to God the sacrifice of His knowledge to return to God the likeness of His Son.

1 Peter 2:5,9
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;

Spiritual sacrifices are offered upon the new altar of Christ. Preparation of the altar comes before prayer in order to create a bond between prayer and prophecy. As we can see, God has a reason for this preparation stage.

Before you can offer spiritual sacrifices to God, your heart must be prepared with the 12 essential elements of the gospel. This will direct your faith, prayer, and prophecy into Christ to separate the things of God from the flesh.

If the church chooses an extemporaneous priesthood, the flesh will dominate their prayers and thus their priesthood. God calls this the Fleshly Priesthood – or – the priesthood designed from the fabric of the flesh. This is an unholy priesthood. You don’t want that!

If your prayers are about the fleshly desires to increase in wealth and health – this is the fleshly priesthood—an unholy priesthood. You have yoked your faith with carnal things, which the Holy Spirit will not use to confirm Christ, and therefore your prayer will not ascend to God.

Again, this is not the holy priesthood, but rather the defiled priesthood, whereas the robes of the priesthood have been defiled by the flesh. It is a doctrinal crime against God’s holiness to teach the church how to practice a defiled priesthood.

If your prayers are about making declarations, prophesying to the condition of nations, prophesying scripture to the defiled conscience, this psychology is also an unholy and ungodly priesthood. Your declarations will not ascend to heaven.

God Places Knowledge Above Prayer

I’ve been saying that God places knowledge above prayer. Why does He do that? The answer is simple: False knowledge is a polluted altar and prayers offered upon a polluted altar do not ascend to heaven. So, what is a polluted altar? It is the mixture of the knowledge of the old covenant into the new covenant and the mixture of the knowledge of the flesh into faith.

Hebrews 13:10
“We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.”

In this verse, the Holy Spirit, through the steward, Apostle Paul, states that there are two altars that are at odds with each other. One altar (knowledge) is framed by the old covenant terms and commandments and tools, while the altar that God gave to the church is the new altar of Christ. The altar of Christ is framed with His new knowledge for faith to reflect Him.

There are many ministers today who have made it their mission to visit Israel to adopt the habits and customs of the nation. The testimony of God for Israel is not in dispute as they are part of His plan, but we cannot use those customs for faith today. Nor can you claim to know Christ through their practice.
