Apostle Eric vonAnderseck
Eric serves as a called and confirmed Chief Apostle in the restored government of God. He is the founder of s8w Ministries, and it is through his stewardship that God ushered in a new season of restoration for all believers who desire to walk in the fulness of Christ. View my profile.
John Burton is yet another minister who has taken keyboard in hand to try to set order to the understanding of the church. Under fire for seemingly having defended Jesse Duplantis for believing God for a new jet that has a 54 M price tag, he adds his penny’s worth of advice to the fray.
Burton claims that God began to dialogue with him in regards to his not-so-private thoughts about the size of his pastor’s yearly salary ($100,000) in comparison to his own ($24,000).
A question dropped into his mind about the worth of his pastor. He thought God prompted the thought, but he should have known that it came from his own conscience as he fights for equity against the rising tide of discontent. The temptation is to reason with one’s logic to find a high road.
Let me explain. The carnal mind wants to be magnanimous toward one’s enemies or contradictory positions, and thus offer the way out of conflict; it is a way of offering counsel void of truth in hopes of finding a peaceful resolution.
Often times when people dialogue with themselves they feel they are dialoguing with God, especially when their conscience smites them for envy or resentment. They feel duly chastised for their thoughts and don’t mind putting themselves on the hot seat in order to get at the prize they are after – to bring order to the church.
When battling it out on the battlefield of the flesh like this, you’ll talk about the issue at hand, whether or not you can know 100% that God did or did not direct Duplantis on his venture.
Division is inevitable in the kingdom of darkness as the flesh fights against stewardship for the crown of life. God calls this sedition. It is the result of heresies, whereas Christians do not come into one house and one faith. Such shall not inherit the kingdom of God (Gal.5:20-21).
Lastly, Burton says that he finds no fault in Duplantis wanting to raise funds for his 54 M jet. After all, he states, there are lots of fund raisers for all kinds of things, right? Be forewarned, this is not a fund raiser, but a teaching of false doctrine, whereas false promises are attached to the plea for money to lure believers into giving.
A man’s weakness is his eyes. So too are believers drawn into a trap of instinct as ministers give themselves over to comedic expressions, spiritual tics, and fables.
It is not your position to be magnanimous towards false doctrine. To do so is to smite Christ for your own equity, and all such will have their portion with the sinner of this world.
God points out the defiled hands of ministers as they mishandle the word of God to misdirect faith into the passion of man, putting spiritual things on the level of carnal things with great pretense of gravitas.
Ministers select biblical language to represent their aspiration. They use words such as faith, covenant, and grace, but they don’t understand the process of God’s kingdom. They neither care for God’s house, nor lead believers into the faith that Jesus purchased with His blood.
Hebrews 10:29
“Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?”
