In a prophetic dream, God confirms His plan to free you from the bondage of false doctrine that keeps you from fulfilling God’s plan for your life. Those who answer God’s call are equipped to chop down the strongholds of Satan’s sowing and grow a new tree of righteousness in God’s garden of Jesus Christ, which He wants to cultivate within your soul.

In a dream I received on June 26, 2023, Apostle Eric had a bundle of solid reeds which he handed to another apostle of God’s restored government. Then he laid on the ground at the base of a black locust tree and Teacher Maria went to attend to him. [end of dream]

First of all, the black locust tree is selected by God in this prophetic dream because its bark, leaves, and seeds it produces contain poisonous compounds which are toxic to both animals and humans.

Also, in the name of the tree itself “black locust”, God hides a parable for us. “Black” represents the absence of light or the kingdom of darkness, pointing to the darkened perception of those who are under the influence of the false religious system and the knowledge it produced for Christians to dine upon.

Locusts destroy crops. Symbolically, the black locust tree represents destructive knowledge. God points to the tree He is removing and teaches us why He is removing it.

God equipping people to chop down the strongholds of Satan’s sowing was prophesied by John the Baptist, a Prophet of God who also informed the people and announced the presence of Jesus in their midst. Prophet John preached to challenge those who thought they were God’s people based on the traditions of the temple, but in heart had turned from God.

Matthew 3:10-12
¹⁰ And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

¹¹ I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

¹² Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

The fruits of a black locust tree are true to itself, but are toxic to animals and humans. These fruits symbolize the millions of different doctrines formed by using sincerity as a compass, which Satan confirms as true by providing scripture as a witness. The doctrine that is true to self causes spiritual sickness and death in those who eat of it.

Apostle Eric, laying down upon the ground at the base of the corrupt tree, symbolizes that he is the Axe that God laid against the root of this corrupt tree to remove it (false doctrine) and its fruit (false faith) from the soul, to free God’s people from its power and witness.

Teacher Maria attending to Apostle Eric, is a confirmation of the ministry to which she is called, working with Apostle Eric, which she has done for the past 46 years.

A reed is a unit of measure that is provided by God.

Revelation 11:1
And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

The knowledge that represents Christ is the foundation of truth, the unit of measure which is used to discern which knowledge is profitable for faith to build with.

The reed represents the truth of the gospel, which is also committed to other apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers that have been confirmed by Chief Apostle Eric into the government of God.

God provides instruction and direction through stewardship for the faith of His people to build according to His pattern, after His own heart. The love we have toward God is seen in the fruit that brings joy to His heart.

God confirms His promise of a new season for planting a new tree in a word of knowledge I received on July 2, 2023:

“The testimony of Ilana will be magnificent”

Ilana is a girls’ name and is pronounced: ee-LAHN-ah. It is of Hebrew origin, and the meaning of Ilana is “tree”. It is a name given to girls born on the Jewish holiday “The New Year of the Trees”. (thinkbabynames .com)

Isaiah 61:3
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

In Christ, or in His covenant, God beautifies the soul with the virtue of Christ. As we put on the knowledge of our redemption, the anointing replaces the ashes of shame and guilt with joy, peace, and strength. In place of sorrow and heaviness, the Lord provides the food of His altar and sacrifices of praise.

The New Year of the Trees: This refers to the planting of the true vine (tree) and new work of God. God confirms His plan to chop down the strongholds of Satan’s sowing, to cleanse and nurture your soul, to grow a new tree of righteousness in the fertile ground that God has prepared in the covenant of Jesus Christ, which is cultivated within your soul as you resource the measure of truth that God has provided through stewardship.
