In a time when God is speaking plainly to remove the physical tithe entirely from your faith, false ministers and Christian journalists are ignorantly pulling in the opposite direction.
They work hard to reframe the Charismatic tithe message as “giving,” a “voluntary act”, or a “motive of the heart issue” –all in the name of bringing “balance” while God is removing the physical tithe entirely. It is a corruption of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Abby Trivett’s recent teaching on the subject is put to shame by the Lord. She called for balance while leveraging scripture to keep the tithe alive, saying, “God’s concern is for the heart and spirit behind why we give.”
The gospel Trivett inherited was chaos erupting into chaos for which “balance” is constantly sought as the “cure” for Satan’s false gospel. Nowhere is this more painfully seen than in the defiled priesthood and the long-standing giving of the physical tithe where the giving of money replaced God’s true plan and pattern for us to reciprocate to Him the fulness of Christ.
- No matter how false leadership repackages the tithe and dresses it with scripture, God has said it does not belong in your faith at all.
Believers Have Been Taught to Reject Jesus’ Priesthood
Through Jesus Christ, God has provided a new spiritual priesthood, and Jesus Himself is now our spiritual tithe to God. Our giving is already joined to His priesthood, where He redefines what it means to reciprocate to God in the stewardship of His grace.
- The problem is not that believers lack access to Jesus’ priesthood, it is that they have been taught to refuse its garments.
Trivett stands on the shoulders of ministers who introduced the very darkened gospel they now attempt to correct, yet they remain adamantly opposed to putting on the garments of Jesus’ covenant. Everyone has clothed themselves in their own truths, their own interpretations, their own spiritual wardrobes. And there is a deadly price for refusing to undress.
Jesus’ warning in the parable of the wedding feast speaks directly to the mindset Satan planted in the church today.
The King declared, “The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.” (Mt. 22:8-14)
Those who were initially invited (the Scribes and Pharisees) declined Jesus’ invitation to come to Him. They rejected Jesus outright. The second-tier guests, those who were dragged in off the streets and alleyways of life, thought they had been given a pass to ignore the King’s garment provided at the door. They assumed the King was hard up for guests and should be grateful they showed up at all. They too rejected Jesus.
Like the church today, they assumed they didn’t have to go through the process of taking off the clothes they came in with (doctrinal cleansing): to remove their personal doctrines, collections of quips, and self‑curated spirituality. They thought that the inspirational threads they held close to their heart were acceptable attire in the presence of the King.
Jesus addresses the man as friend to give him space to surrender the clothes he came in with. But the man is speechless. He has already accepted Satan’s pass: the illusion that God should receive him clothed in his own spiritual truths. By his own actions, the man is found not worthy of the Lord, and the Lord had him bound and cast into outer darkness.
Matthew 22:12-13
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Many come forward to accept Jesus as their Savior, but then are taught to reject His covenant, His apostolic stewardship and spiritual priesthood. They refuse to reciprocate to God on the grounds of His one foundation of truth. They accepted Satan’s wilderness gospel and cherish their freedom to roam his dry paths which they call God’s kingdom.
God Dismantles the Physical Tithe and its Spiritual Baggage
And this is why God is dismantling the physical tithe and the spiritual baggage that comes with it. The physical tithe is one of the last garments people refuse to remove because it is a familiar, comfortable piece of the old wardrobe that allows them to avoid the full acceptance of Jesus’ covenant garments.
As long as they cling to the earthly token, they avoid the heavenly One. As long as they cling to the shadow, they resist the substance. As long as they cling to the tithe of the law, they resist the priesthood of Christ.
Why is God dismantling the physical tithe and the spiritual baggage that comes with it? It’s the clothes people don’t want to part with in order to put on Jesus’ covenant garments.
- Satan designed the physical tithe for the church to replace Jesus’ priesthood, and that is precisely the stroke he intended.
But anything that stands in the place of Jesus’ priesthood becomes a rival system. And that’s what the counterfeit gospel does. It rivals God.
In Jesus we Have a New Heavenly Priesthood
Apostle Eric vonAnderseck often teaches on the transition of the tithe and explains:
From the beginning God taught the difference between the earthly tithe and the heavenly tithe and He did this through Abraham. Abraham gave a tenth to Melchizedek (‘the priest of the most high God’) who represented Jesus. (Gen. 14:18-20; Heb. 7:2-9)
Melchizedek’s heavenly descent was a prophecy of Jesus, the Son of God who would come down from heaven to establish Himself as our new priest and new tithe. He is the token we receive from God and He is the token we return to God.
God speaks expressly: the heavenly token (Jesus) is greater than the earthy token (gift of money and goods). Even Levi (the law) gave tithes to Melchizedek while still in the loins of Abraham. God demonstrates the submission of the law to the new priesthood Jesus would give in Himself.
Amen. We are thankful for the restoration of Jesus’ priesthood. God has changed what we think about “giving”, and we agree with God 100%:
– Jesus is the heavenly tithe.
– The law’s tithe was the earthly shadow.
– And God has already testified which one is greater.
God now defined giving through Jesus’ priesthood.
1 Peter 2:5
Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up [give] spiritual sacrifices, [the gifts] acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
The heavenly priesthood and spiritual sacrifices we now offer to God (our gift; our giving) in the fulness of Christ supersedes the earthly tithe established through Moses. God testifies that Jesus’ heavenly priesthood is greater because of the eternal work God will do in the heart through Him.
When your heart is refitted with Jesus’ new covenant knowledge, then the reciprocation of Christ becomes the normal and abundant outflow of your faith. Not financial giving, but the “fruit of your lips”. Each spiritual sacrifice is formed by the anointing and testifies of God’s divine work in the soul. (Heb. 13:15; 1 Tim. 1:5)
The priesthood has changed — therefore the tithe must change with it.
The sacrifice has changed — therefore the token must change with it.
The covenant has changed — therefore the reciprocation must be redefined in Christ.
The Church is NOT Partaking of Christ
Ministry leaders revert back to the portions and physical tokens such as the tithe, water baptism, and partaking of physical communion to define and validate their participation. All those portions were temporary until Christ should come, allowing us to partake of Him.
- Wherever Jesus’ priesthood is denied, we see worship distorted.
When the covenant changed our participation changed. And now the carnal, earthly tools are unacceptable. They are distorted worship.
No matter how you try to reposition the tithe and prop it up with words like “generosity”, it is still distorted worship. We cannot give to God anything less than Himself.
The Lord gave Teacher Maria vonAnderseck a word of knowledge for this part of the teaching: “de-impartake”. So let’s break this open. Teacher Maria explains:
God gave this word of knowledge to assist believers: ‘de‑impartake’. The prefix de- (undo, reverse, dismantle) reveals what God is dismantling = the old participation so the true participation can be restored. The way people were brought up to think about the tithe prevented them from participating in Jesus’ priesthood.
In covenant, we partake of Christ and return to God the fulness of His work in spiritual sacrifices. The prefix de‑ exposes what God is reversing and undoing — the old participation that never joined you to Christ.
And the prefix im- (not) is key. The physical tithe does not allow one to partake of Christ. It prevents the believer from partaking of and functioning in Jesus’ priesthood with His knowledge, prepared by the anointing to offer His spiritual sacrifices to God.
To continue in the physical tithe is to continue in a system that prevents partaking of Christ, because it keeps the believer in the wrong priesthood.
The old covenant pointed to shadows; the new covenant brings us into the divine substance, reality and experience of Christ. Therefore, the physical tithe cannot coexist with the heavenly priesthood, because it cannot bring you into Christ at all.
This important word of knowledge clarifies God’s shift through His real apostles. God is removing Satan’s snare and reversing the damage he inflicted through his ministers.
- Trivett offers a smorgasbord of realizations, but that’s not the gospel of Jesus Christ. Like many ministers lost in the false church system, she’s still trying to balance the physical tithe rather than accept Jesus as her tithe.
“De‑impartake” is God showing up to restore Jesus’ priesthood and remove the counterfeit. It means:
– God is dismantling the old participation
– God is reversing the impartation of the wrong priesthood
– God is removing the tether to the shadow
– God is restoring the believer to the true covenant priesthood where their participation in Christ follows a new pattern of giving
This is exactly what the Apostle Paul does in Hebrews chapter 7: he de‑impartakes the believer from the law’s tokens so they can partake of the heavenly reality.
As God shifts the attention of the believer from the physical, carnal tithe to the heavenly reality in Jesus, we also see a shift in confidence, hope, and real trust in God.
- Jesus Himself is now our tithe and that changes everything.
As Satan’s ministers continue to teach the defiled practice of tithing… the very thing God no longer inhabits, they connect the giving of money to “stewardship” and “accountability”.
That’s a myth.
In truth, God teaches accountability to His covenant in Jesus where believers learn how to receive the grace of God and how to steward the grace of God that is sown in the body. God holds us accountable to His knowledge and tools.
Worship is defined by Jesus’ new priesthood where He oversees the stewardship of grace for our spiritual growth. This is why your priesthood is the foundation of your experience with God. Jesus’ priesthood changes what you steward and what you are accountable to.
God defines the only “giving” that is valid for your faith today: to give to the Lord that which is equal to Himself – no longer physical, monetary, or fleshly tokens – but Jesus Himself.
God’s corrections land heavily upon ministry leaders…
They still deny Jesus as God’s new tithe… they still deny His new priesthood… and still transgress against God.
