The question on everyone’s mind is: “What is the measure of true revival?” Jeremy Camp’s false formula simply puts the “Me Gospel” into action. He says, “start with me” and he asks God to bring “repentance, forgiveness, humility and transformation” to his life.

God shines His light on Satan’s distorted blueprint in Camp’s testimony to turn that around for you: GOD DOESN’T START WITH US. He starts with Jesus. Repentance, forgiveness, humility and transformation all have their origin and life in the environment Jesus provided for this: Jesus’ covenant. God has a controversy with Camp and other Christian leaders for replacing Jesus’ blueprint with their own.

Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.

Camp’s counterfeit blueprint is not his private error. He received it from various Charismatic and Evangelical ministry circles and is passing it on to you.

When he says “start with me” it sounds humble and authentic. No one is meant to see the distortion. So let’s see where the deception is hiding: it calls for introspective whitewashing; calling it spiritual transformation. It is no different than Michael Jackson singing, “I’m starting with the man in the mirror.” But God calls it a self-work that actually reverses His plan by making you behold yourself instead of beholding Jesus in His covenant.

Let’s pause there for a moment to really take that in: God’s plan has never been for you to behold yourself; He wants you to behold Jesus in His covenant provision.

Introspective whitewashing is Satan’s counterfeit regeneration. It is a spiritual imitation that reflects man’s own likeness, not Christ’s. It never touches the inner man with divine change, because the Me Gospel never submits the soul under Jesus’ covenant care.

God is judging covenantless revivals because they teach people to walk contrary to Him. The Lord spoke to me about this in a dream, and said: “Man always wants to fulfill My will, but they begin with themselves.”

God is saying that His will begins with Jesus. Jesus is the fullness of God’s covenant, and by it, He frees our faith from the introspective whitewashing that never progresses beyond condemnation.

Jesus’ divine work must begin with the things that reflect His divine nature–that is God’s blueprint for real spiritual transformation.

God’s plan is for you to see Jesus in His covenant: in His knowledge, His apostolic stewardship, and His spiritual tools. These are the very things that God restored that allow you to function in your priesthood to experience His daily care for real spiritual transformation to take place.

While Camp points believers back to repentance and “a daily dependence on Christ”, God’s real apostles point believers back to Jesus’ covenant where doctrinal re-education unfolds how dependence on Christ is a dependence on the knowledge and tools God placed in Jesus for fruit bearing in our soul.

Believers are not left to color in the gaps in shades of their own imaginations, rather, their faith is empowered in the gospel of regeneration to be mindful participants in His plan.

Everything about false revival formulas is introspective whitewashing. When Camp teaches that revival is “recognizing our desperate need for Jesus constantly”, he is not directing believers into the covenant environment where that need is met. That hunger and desperation is the wilderness experience believers have been taught to expect, but those who enter into His covenant house sit at the table as children, lacking nothing.

• The devil has censored Jesus’ covenant terms for our contact with God from the beginning, and he trains his ministers to do the same.

Their revival campaigns rehearse recommitment, not covenant contact. As they remake their commitment to the Lord, they whitewash where they’ve been walking—outside of the house, in the covenant void. The shared, rehearsed language sounds like submission, but it hides the absence of Jesus’ priesthood.

False revival is about prayers of recommitment and attempts to restart your faith while dismissing God’s call to Jesus’ covenant. It is the cycle of “try again,” “start over,” “renew your passion,” and “get back to Jesus,” without ever entering the covenant God actually provided for sustaining the soul – like Israel’s disobedience kept them going in circles in the wilderness, not entering into the promised land.

When Camp says, “Here I am broken before you, realizing that your love and forgiveness are so great”, he is whitewashing a life that does not include obedience to Jesus’ apostolic stewardship, set in place by God to equip the church to truly walk with Him.

The brokenness he describes is not real repentance; it is an emotional self‑evaluation. The forgiveness he celebrates is not God’s cleansing we receive in Jesus’ covenant; it is his recycled experience separated from God. The entire expression is a whitewash over the void where Jesus’ covenant should be functioning.

• This is why there continues to be wave after wave of revival claims, followed by the disclaimer articles like that of Camp, wanting to quantify what true revival should look like.

As long as they refuse to enter into God’s covenant, the only thing that remains sure – is their need. The continual need that only Christ’s fullness can satiate, and DOES so within the terms and function of the covenant Jesus always intended for your faith to function in.

Returning to my opening question: “What is the measure of true revival?” A better question would be: “What ends the continual need for revival?” The answer is Jesus’ living reality, which He placed within His new covenant provision. That is what He was prophesying of, what His early church rejoiced in, and what He is restoring believers to again today.

John 6:35
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Randy Kay titled his teaching “Am I in?” as he tried to break the same covenant‑void barrier. Kay feels deeply about the question he says keeps you awake at night: “Am I saved?” But he too fell victim to Satan’s censorship of Jesus’ covenant.

“Am I in?” is a question about entrance into Jesus covenant, and you are right to question the false gospel you were given that says you are fine without it.

While Kay desperately wants to affirm that Jesus’ finished work on the cross is all we need to “secure salvation”, he scrubbed Jesus’ covenant terms entirely, removing the apostolic stewardship that opens God’s covenant door.

What Satan trained his ministers to do was make salvation messages void of the life of Christ. That is why the question of legitimacy persists, and why repeat conversions and false revivals appeal—but fail.

Kay tries to teach the difference between the old and new covenant without actually teaching what God’s new covenant in Jesus is all about and how we gain entrance.

Instead Kay teaches that “Christ redeemed believers by becoming a curse on their behalf.” This is the counterfeit gospel that accepted Satan’s substitutions. Jesus didn’t become the curse. The curse cannot redeem itself. He died for us, for our benefit, to provide Himself in the place of the curse and give us a new beginning in Himself.

Do you see the difference?

Fallen ministers rehash and resurrect the issues that continue to surface, always circling back to the same question: “Am I in? Am I saved?” They assure believers that resolving inner conflicts will bring confidence, but salvation apart from God’s provision in Christ is not salvation at all.

Never seeing Christ, ministers built another gospel that allows them to do battle, trying to rule over the flesh through the rules of the flesh. By smiting the appetite and exercising choices in the covenant void, each doctrinal shed becomes a refuge that they believe cannot be penetrated. And within that refuge they think they’re saved, but that’s not the city of refuge. (Num. 35:25)

In the old testament, not every city was a refuge. This preached Christ to us. Only the place God designated for us in Christ according to His terms of contact is where His work in us manifests the light of His conscience, purifies our soul, and fulfills in us what He is.

God has been dismantling Satan’s corrupted gospel and showing ministers that they’re in the wrong habitation, and that their false refuge is nothing more than doctrinal prisons.

I want to get into the myth God is shattering. The one that says that we can be saved apart from Jesus’ covenant provision. Let me share a portion from Apostle Eric vonAnderseck’s new book, Apostles Restore the Lost Foundation.

In the following excerpt, Apostle Eric reveals Satan’s mindset: he persuaded Christians to defend their salvation in the covenant void based on conversion rhetoric. Let’s get into that section now:

The early evangelism tracts for street preaching that came through the Jesus Movement mainstreamed this concept of intervention without application. They heard the revival preacher’s call:

• “repent and come to Jesus!”
• “come to the altar and give it all to God”
• “just surrender everything to Jesus”
• “give your life to Jesus right now”

And so everyone threw their garbage on the stage: their syringes, drugs, pills, cigarettes, burdens and cares. That was supposed to be repentance, but it wasn’t. All they wanted to do was meet Jesus in a real way and be the person God wanted them to be, but they walked away with an empty heart.

Hearing only the conversion rhetoric, people have nothing to repent to. Hang onto that because this is the difference God is pointing to. Satan steals the word out of their heart with the hands of the imagination, turning repentance into a pretense of prayers—an outward show of surrender—while never coming into 100% agreement with God by accepting His covenant.

The conscience was pricked—that’s real. The light of God penetrated the conscience in order to show the presence of sin—meaning they did not believe on Him. The illumination of grace was there—it was real—it was tangible. People feel high on grace, but without proper instruction the grace falls short of the glory of God and believers become victims of the wayside theology.

Thousands of people testify to the power of God’s grace to draw them and can describe the impact of grace upon their heart and their commitment to live for Him—and that’s the testimony they go back to whenever they doubt their salvation.

But God is not building on the history of grace or its initial impact, but on Jesus’ covenant, where grace is given its avenue to continue. Your experience with the grace of God was real, but immediately your steps were directed into the wilderness of exploration where grace fades.

When believers hear the true gospel preached, Jesus’ covenant collides with what they have been fed. They feel challenged, even defensive, because their confidence was built on partial truths their conversion centered on. At that painful crossroad, the instinctive cry is: “Oh, don’t steal my confidence!”

• The issue is not whether grace touched you, but whether Jesus’ covenant was accepted.

Because believers never got rooted in Jesus’ covenant, they accepted their initial experience with grace as their true history and want to defend it: “I know I got saved because I felt the power of God.” But a decision for Jesus’ covenant was never made.

So again, the question is not whether your first encounter with God’s grace was genuine, but what happens when the covenant void is entered.

At that point of illumination, the Spirit freed your conscience from Satan’s grip. But when the Lord saw that a covenant decision was not made—that His provision was refused and Satan’s wilderness accepted—grace faded, and Satan’s grip continued. The absence of covenant is what allowed the wilderness to take hold.

The Lord Topples Satan’s Parentage

It is understandable that you would defend the void that has been your only spiritual home, and cling to the ministry parents who kept you isolated from God because they are the only guardians you’ve ever known. But the Lord is now toppling Satan’s parentage.

Yet even as the Lord opens a way for you to return to Him, Satan tightens his hold, whispering: “If you accept this new way of life, look at what you’re going to lose.”

But when you enter into a covenant relationship with God, you’re not losing anything—you’re gaining the true substance of your salvation.

• The grace of God is no longer just your history, it becomes your daily diet because God designed His grace to be a daily ongoing experience that’s vital to your spiritual growth, and fellowship with Him. The grace of God flows from covenant contact.

The Lord is now helping you walk back what happened when you said yes to Jesus, but not yes to His covenant. As you revisit the history of grace you experienced (true), and then trace where you wandered, He is opening your eyes for the first time to see where you turned aside.

Your senses are being exercised to discern where you were led—into the wilderness church that remains stuck in the covenant void. This contrast was already determined by the Father before the world began, to separate Satan’s counterfeit from His true gift.

And now the Lord addresses your discomfort. You do not need to feel condemned because your first steps are being challenged. You long to return to your first love, but you do not know the way back.

In the wilderness gospel, the enemy cultivated many religious aspirations to afflict you with the thorns of fruitless traditions. Satan desires to keep you bound in the covenant void and trains his ministers to defend it with soothing slogans: “Jesus loves you. Don’t let anyone tell you you’re not saved because you accepted Jesus in your heart.”

And now the Lord reveals how He restores you: through the stewardship He placed in His apostles. Without this stewardship, the church embraces the gospel of pretense:
facts that are true, but void of any substance of truth.

God Restores True Apostolic Leadership

God restores true apostolic leadership to return His church to Jesus’ covenant. Satan’s shadow has long entrenched thousands of hypothetical challenges against Jesus’ covenant, and the first always targets apostolic stewardship: “Why do I need apostles if I have Jesus in my heart?”

This challenge assumes that Jesus’ covenant can be lived without the stewardship He appointed to open the door. But simply confessing Jesus in your heart neither seals salvation nor grants entrance into His covenant.

The true gospel is the gospel of Jesus’ covenant, and the apostles identified their calling—the apostolical character—as God’s assurance that the one gospel they preached is the one you must trust.

1 Thessalonians 2:4
But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.

The only gospel the apostles preached was the gospel of Jesus’ covenant, and it is with this knowledge that God builds His foundation in the heart, and it is with this knowledge that He tries hearts.

Many first‑century churches fell away from the knowledge God sanctified for them. They trusted ministerial voices who preached their own gospels and built their own foundational structures of knowledge. And the first thing those ministers declared was, “There are no more foundational apostles.”

We hear the same declaration today from ministers who took ownership of the church and built the foundation in your heart with corrupt knowledge. They repeat, “There are no more foundational apostles.” But the Lord says otherwise. Yes, there are foundational apostles today. That is the very purpose of the apostolical character—to build the foundation of truth in your heart that establishes His covenant.

False ministers object to God’s one foundation of truth. They built on counterfeit foundations, they substituted wilderness gospels, and they turned aside from Jesus’ covenant. God now exposes their works as abominations He abhors.

God tries the heart by trying the foundation you are building on. That is why the Lord said through the Prophet Ezekiel:

Ezekiel 16:2
Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations;

And the Lord is doing the same today—causing the church to know her abominations, meaning the offenses of her errors. The greatest offense against God is the removal of the covenant foundation upon which He builds your faith.

The holy city, new Jerusalem, is built on the apostolical character. Its foundation reflects the calling that builds the reality of Christ in your heart through the knowledge that represents Him perfectly. And even Abraham looked for a city whose builder and maker is God. The apostolic stewardship is the leadership of the knowledge of Christ. All other knowledge—all other foundations—all other gospels are corrupt. (Rev. 21:14)

All apostles build the one foundation God laid in Christ. When Jesus reproved the early church it was because they trusted in the voices of many independent ministers who claimed a calling, but built other foundations of knowledge. Jesus called them back— “come to Me”—“anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.” (Rev. 3:18)

That is, to understand the way of His covenant. This is God’s joy. Your eyes will be open. Your soul will become fruitful in His kingdom. Your conscience will be purified, and the Lord will say, “Now you’re covered in the glory of My light.”
